The Restaurant manager is responsible for achieving and maintaining all Food & Beverage areas.
He / She has to assure the that all Budgets and targets are met in accordance with the Guidelines.
Together with Executive Chef he / she is fully responsible for the entire Food delivery.
In addition , to ensure that all dietary requests are met and that the needs of the guests are observed in the delivery of the highest possible service.
He / She acts as a source of information for the Executive Chef as well as the Cruise manager
The Restaurant Manager needs to be able to handle complaints, difficult situations and should be an avid problem solver within the confines of the department.
The restaurant Manager is to make certain that the smooth work-flow of the department is in conjunction with high levels of teamwork with other departments.
The RM demonstrates an advanced level of competence regarding HACCP and together with the other HOD’S ensures that the ship complies with local legislation regarding Public health and safety.
